About this opportunity
Damp and mould affects thousands of students every year, and it’s bad for their homes, their health and their studies. WhatTheMould is an app that helps students tackle it, and we’d love your help getting it into more hands. You’ll work across marketing and partnerships, helping us: Find and reach new student users, and work out what makes them sign up and stick around Use their feedback to improve the app and the outcomes it delivers Identify commercial and distribution partners, such as universities, student unions, letting agents and housing providers Build and manage those relationships and turn conversations into real opportunities You’ll learn business development in an AI-native company, where we use AI tools every day to research, write, test ideas and move quickly. You’ll get real responsibility and plenty of support, and you’ll see your work make a difference to people living with mould.
Requirements
We’re looking for someone who is: Gritty and resourceful. You don’t wait for perfect conditions. If one route is blocked, you find another. Organised. You can juggle several conversations and tasks without things slipping through the cracks. A clear communicator. You’re comfortable reaching out to people you don’t know, by email, on the phone or in person. Curious about how businesses grow. You’re interested in marketing, partnerships, start-ups or social impact. Bonus points if you: Love telling stories and creating content, whether that’s social posts, short videos, blogs or something else Bring creative ideas and enjoy trying new things Have lived in student housing yourself and know the problem first-hand No specific degree or previous experience needed. We care more about attitude and energy than CV lines.
